Prehistoric Party

The Prehistoric Party has finally begun, and this party makes history! It's the first party that allows us to choose between the party rooms or regular rooms. We can do that by time traveling.

At the party, the first thing you might want to do is to transform into a dinosaur. You can do that by playing Dino Dig. It's a single-player game. To collect all the eggs it actually does take quite a bit of time, so be patient!

There are twelve different eggs you need to collect. Each egg allows you to transform into a certain dinosaur species. It also makes a sound when you dance and a trick when you wave.

Collecting all the eggs earns you the T-Rex Hoodie:

Making the roar sound (dance) in several rooms will earn you several items throughout the party. In the picture below, you can see what you can earn now and later on during the event:

There is also a catalog where items can be purchased. It's a rather large catalog, so treat it as if it's the prehistoric version of the Penguin Style. There are no hidden items. Items purchased here can be used to feed dinosaurs. Here's a screenshot of one of the pages:

For famous penguin seekers, Gary is back with a new background. You can obtain this if you already have him in your buddy list.

The emotes are also out! You can ask for food, make a big brow emote or a campfire emote until the end of the party. The party lasts until January 29! Enjoy it while it lasts!

Earlier this week, I answered some of your most popular Prehistoric Party questions. You kept the questions coming, and today I’m answering more of them. Read on for a few party secret reveals!

Which mascot will be visiting? Gary will be leading the exploration of Prehistoric Club Penguin. Get ready to help dig up dino eggs and interview caveguins (cave penguins!).

How does digging for dino eggs work? There will be dig sites and shovels all throughout the island. If you’re lucky, you’ll uncover something that looks like this:

Will there be new party emotes? Definitely! The Holiday Party emotes were a huge hit. So the team’s adding three new limited time emotes to your chat bars. Check them out:

Remember: These will only be available during the Prehistoric Party, January 17 – 29!

Coins for Change 2012 Results

Club Penguin has released their 2012 Coins for Change results, as promised.

13.7 Billion Coins were donated in total! Amazing fact!

$308,614 will be donated towards providing medical help.

$395,460 will be donated towards helping the environment.

$295,926 will be donated towards providing safe places.

Thank you to everybody who donated! It's really cool how one player donating some coins can accumulate to billions of coins donated! Keep up the good work everybody!

2013 New Year's Fireworks

The New Year's Fireworks are back in Club Penguin! This time, they are neither at Iceberg or the Ski Hill. It looks like Club Penguin has decided to try something new - putting them at the Snow Forts. Check it out!
